  • PFLAG Canda: PFLAG Canada is Canada's only national organization that helps all Canadians who are struggling with issues of sexual orientation and gender identity. PFLAG Canada supports, educates and provides resources to parents, families, friends and colleagues with questions or concerns, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Pride Centre of Edmonton: Edmonton's community resource for all people of queer orientations as well as allies. (Website currently under construction, see their temporary site, or visit their facebook group).
  • Womonspace Edmonton: Womonspace provides opportunities for lesbians to interact and support each other in a safe environment, and contribute to the broader community.  Organizes Edmonton meet-ups and events for lesbian-identified women in the area.

  • Xtra!: Canada's gay and lesbian news. Updated mulitple times per day with the latest news relating to the queer community.
  • Gaywire on CJSR: Edmonton's only queer radio show, Thursday's from 6 - 7PM on 88.5 FM & online. In addition to the show they update a regular blog with news, art and music. Contact them with items of interest, questions or just to chat!
  • Exposure Festival: Annual queer arts and culture festival held in November in Edmonton. Miss out this year? Exposure updates a great blog year-round to keep us connected to the numerous events, exhibits and news that keep our local queer community vibrant and active.
  • Kate Bornstein's Blog for Teens, Freaks and Other Outlaws: Bornstein is the author of Gender Outlaws (and now Gender Outlaws: The Next Generation).  This blog is updated regularily and although it is generally targeted towards young people, it's a great read for queer folk of all sorts.
  • Original Plumbing Magazine: Original Plumbing documents diversity within trans male lifestyles through photographic portraits and essays, personal narratives and interviews. Is is a quarterly print magazine by Amos Mac and Rocco Kayiatos, independently published and distributed out of San Francisco, CA. They keep their website updated with features.
