Greatest Hits - 2017

Saturday December 30, 2017

It's that time of year when we look back at the year that was.  Here is our annual list of our best-sellers.  These are the toys you loved in 2017.

#10 - Palm Power Wand Rechargeable

Our tenth best seller is a return favorite.    With a powerful vibe rivaling that of much larger wands, and a petite, light design, the Palm Power has been popular since it came out more than three years ago.

#9 - Fuze Pleasure Plugs 1 and 2

Fuze poured on the new toys this years and gave us lots of great shapes.  They redesigned the old happy valley plugs with a new, more ergonomic base.  These plugs are great for beginners but the come in four sizes so you can work your way from one to the next if you like.  Sizes one and two tied for ninth spot on the best seller list.

#8 - We Vibe Nova

The Nova is an innovative idea that has really caught on.  Nova gives you the shape of a traditional rabbit toy but makes the clitoral branch soft and flexible so that it stays connected to you no matter how you move it or how your body is shaped.  Nova's outstanding quality, multiple settings, and great price made it number 8 on our best seller list this year.

#7 - Adore U Mike

This is a fun and surprising entry on our Top Ten.  We sell a lot of dildos but we know that they rarely rival vibrators for top spots.  People just love toys that vibrate.  But Adore U came in last year with some great toys that have really taken off.  Mike is from a line of 100% silicone, semi-realistic toys that look and feel great and don't break the budget.  Mike also comes with a suction cup, making it harness compatible and great for play in the shower!

#6 - We Vibe Unite

We Vibe made a great choice in their updates last year.  They brought us the amazing sync, with everything you could ever want in a we vibe and then thought 'What about those people who don't need all those bells and whistles and just want the we vibe shape?'  The Unite has no bluetooth, no adjust-ability and no charging dock - just that great we vibe shape and function - and a 10 speed remote!  And it's half the price of the We Vibe Sync!   It seems like it was a good move because We Vibe Unite was our 6th best-selling toy last year.

#5 - Magic Wand Rechargeable

The Magic Wand rechargeable drops down to 5th place last year but is still a favorite.  It's one of the strongest vibrators on the market and the quality can't be beat.

#4 - We Vibe Sync

This version of the We Vibe came out in late 2016 and has proven to be a hit.  It combines everything we love about the we vibe - the unique shape, remote control, powerful rechargeable motor - with a great new feature - the ability to adjust the shape of the toy!  Sync is a hit in the store and was also our best selling toy at Taboo 2016 and 2017.

#3 - Mini Swan Wand

Mini Swan Wand

This one is no surprise to the Tickle Trunk staff.  The mini swan was one of our favorites as soon as we saw it.  Now that it's been in the store for over a year, it's our number three seller.  This tiny toy with a strong rechargeable vibe and a great price, is also a favorite at our parties.

#2 - 10-speed Teaser

Our number one toy from last year switched places with number two.  The teaser has been a popular toy for several years now and continues to be.

#1 - Soft Rain Bullet

The runner up last year is our winner this year.  The soft rain's compact shape, multiple speeds and affordable price tag make it a popular choice.  It used to be that if you wanted a quality toy made of quality material, you'd have to spend a lot of money.  Our top seller for this year proves that's no longer the case.

There's so much innovation and imagination going into to toy development now.  We're looking forward to seeing what's coming up for 2018.

Reminder: Don't Get Your Sexual Health Info from Cosmo

Thursday July 6, 2017

i found this little nugget in one of my newsfeeds today, forwarded from Cosmo Magazine's website.  "12 Anal Foreplay Tips for Beginners".  In my never-ending quest to correct sexual health misinformation everywhere, I thought I should take this one on.

Admittedly, Cosmo seems to be stepping up its game on the sex stuff.  I haven't seen as much horrible advice coming from them as I used to and occasionally now I see them being very inclusive of all genders and sexual preferences which used to never be the case.  This article is not an example of that.
