V-Day 2021 - Where to Get That Special Valentine's Dinner In
We know that Valentine's Day 2021 is going to be like nothing we've experienced before. It's likely that we won't be able to dine at a restaurant - and even if we could, many of us won't feel comfortable. So how can you make your Valentine's Day special and romantic when you can't go out? Fortunately, our local Edmonton restaurants have already thought of that for you. Here are some places you can get a great, special meal for pickup or delivery (check with each restaurant to find out the details).

Get a gourmet meal, a link to step by step, plating and presenting your beautiful meal, and a link to a great comedy show to watch during dinner.
For some lighter fare, the Cavern will put together a beautiful cheese and jam or cheese and charcuterie basket for you. They can do pick up or delivery (within a certain radius). You need to order at least 24 hours in advance.
Among many other Valentine's options, the Art of Cake has a beautiful plate of brownies and bottle of raspberry fortified wine. Ready for pickup with 48 hours notices.
Our favourite gluten-free restaurant, Continental Treat is offering a special Valentine's menu for two - with or without a wine pairing. Available February 12-14. Order early to avoid disappointment.
While we can't eat family style, like we're used to doing at MEAT, we can pick up their amazing Valentine's Day meal for two - Confit Duck Leg and Thigh with Bourbon Orange Jus (you're drooling now, aren't you?). Includes dessert and a bottle of Prosecco.
Get a vegetarian or meat charcuterie box for two from PIP Wine Bar just off Whyte. You can include wine for an extra charge. Order any time from now until February 12 for pickup or delivery on February 13 or 14.

If you really want to go out, you can get a romantic room at the Varsona Inn. They'll bring a fabulous dinner for two from Amersand 27. Call them, 48 hours in advance to book your room and choose your entree. This special is available from Feburary 12 to 14.
