Goop Spreads it Garbage to Netflix

Tuesday January 7, 2020
I heard today that, in spite of many concerns by many medical professionals and advocates for truth in advertising, and in spite of the fact that less than 2 years ago, her company was forced to pay out a $145,000 settlement for lying about the products it promotes, Netflix is going ahead with airing Gwyneth Paltrow's tv series.

My Favourite Toys of the Last Decade

Friday January 3, 2020
I have been working with sex toys for over 20 years now so the end of this decade doesn't really seem like that momentous an occasion.  But when I look back at the last 10 years, I realize how much has changed in toys.  A lot of really great toys have come and gone.  A lot of really bad toys have come and some, thankfully, have gone.

The Decade in Sex Toys

Friday January 3, 2020
One of my favourite things about a New Year is looking back at all that happened in the previous year.  The close of a decade offers us the opportunity to look back at an entire 10 years.  Here are some of the of the biggest changes and trends that I noticed over this decade in sex toys.

Wednesday January 1, 2020

The decade is coming to a close.  This is a good time to look back on the toys that kept you cumming to a close.

Here are our biggest selling toys over the last year  (please remember this is based solely on the number of units we sold - this is not to mean that these toys are better than lower selling toys at all.  And do remember that lower-priced toys do tend to sell in bigger quantities as they are more affordable to more people).

Body Positivity - a Great New Workshop Comes to the Tickle Trunk

Friday October 4, 2019

The Tickle Trunk is thrilled to be hosting a brand new workshop on October 27th– Body Respect and Empowerment.  This workshop is facilitated by two of our favorite people on the planet, Lauren Groves and Allison Tunis.  Lauren is a counsellor whose office is right beside the Tickle Trunk. She’s a a feminist Registered Provisional Psychologist and Certified Body Trust Provider.   Allison is a visual artist and fat liberation activist.  You can find her amazing colouring book at our store!

Because the concepts of body positivity and fat activism are new to many of us, I asked them to explain what those concepts mean to them and what you can expect when you come to the workshop.
