Sex toys come in multiple materials, including silicone, rubber, metal, wood, jelly, cyber skin, plastic, etc. Some are safer than others. One of the safest toy materials currently used today, when used correctly, is glass. More specifically, clear, medical grade borosilicate glass, also known as "hard glass"; this is the same kind of glass that they make science beakers and test tubes as well as glass measuring cups out of. You may have heard the term "Pyrex" to describe glass toys, which is generally synonymous with borosilicate glass (although there are a few, less popular types of borosilicate glass which aren't Pyrex, most glass toys are Pyrex). Though it is naturally colourless, additional colour can be added late in the manufacturing process.

When the Sense Motion toys from lelo came out, I was so excited because I have been looking everywhere for a good quality remote toy. This was Lelo so of course it was going to be good. At first, they seemed amazing. They vibrated to the motion of the remote! They had a commercial that hit youtube that shows a guy dancing with the remote and driving his partner mad.

The Hitachi Magic Wand needs no introduction. It's the Pulp Fiction of Vibrators; a polarizing cult toy with a cult following. Known as the Cadillac of vibrators, the Hitachi has been around in North America since the 1970's. The Magic Wand is produced by, you guess it, Hitachi; a Japanese company that mostly designs and sells electronics and computer systems. Although introduced to the market as a wand massager (thanks to its deceiving but incredibly practical design), the Magic Wand gained notoriety as a sex toy from its multiple appearances in classic 70's porn. Since then, multiple knock-offs and "improved" models have flooded the market, but in this reviewers opinion, nothing beats the original.

A womens group in my hometown of Lethbridge is rallying people to take up their knitting needles for a cause. They are leading a protest against MP Stephen Woodworth's private members bill that would redefine when life legally begins. They are concerned that if this motion passes, it will reopen the abortion debate and lead to eventual criminalization of abortion. Ya, you and me both!
