FixSation

Thursday July 26, 2012

I had heard a lot about this toy and I liked the idea of it so I was eager to try it out.  For the most part, I don't think it's worth the hype surrounding it at all.

The little vibe is really cute - it looks almost like a scarab beetle.  It's thin and it has a curve to it that forms nicely to the body.  It's very quiet.

The Sleeve of Destiny

I recommend the Sidekick to pretty much everyone. If you're taking matters into your own hands or lending a helping hand it provides an exceptional orgasm every time, that is quick, easy, and ridiculously enjoyable.

Playing with Toys: The Natural

Friday June 15, 2012
When I first saw this toy in a catalog, I knew it was something I wanted to try.  I had never seen anything else shaped like it.  The internal portion looked like it was made to fit comfortably and the external part has lots of ridges, which I am a huge fan of texture so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. When it arrived, the packaging really wowed me. It looks like a book that you open to find the toy. There are a few pages that have sexy drawings about suggestions about its use.  The toy is nestled in the right half of the “book” and when I reached in to pull it out, I was immediately pleased with the silky smooth silicone.

Buying a Strap-on 101

Thursday June 14, 2012
Last week we got in a fantastic new strap-on from Spareparts named the Deuce Male Harness. This is a new harness that is made specifically for men; it's about time that we start catering to ALL the people who utilize strap-on devices! While strap-on harnesses are generally more associated with women, they can be a great and useful tool for men who are unable to or don't want to penetrate their partner with their penis - and for men who just love to play with dils'.

Playing with Toys: Silk, Small & Medium

Silk small (100% silicone. 0.8" wide. 4.4" long.)

Is definitely a great starter anal / vaginal toy but also has other perks as well (read on!).  This toy is slim, smooth and has just the right amount of flexibility to allow for changes in angle during anal play and harness play without causing discomfort (listen up newbies to harness play!).  The flared based makes it suitable for harness play although at times I found it difficult to slip a condom over the flared base to secure the condom for anal play.  If you plan to use it as a starter butt plug you might find the base too large and as there is no ‘neck’ to this toy you’ll probably need to wear snug fitting underwear or a butt plug harness to keep it in place.  As a dildo, the size, flexibility and slight bend allows for very pleasurable g-spot stroking that I was not able to duplicate with its bigger sibling (Silk Medium).  Overall the Silk small is a great multi-functional starter toy.  For me, the g-spot stroking perk means that even after it served its purpose as a beginner anal / harness toy, it remains a personal favorite near the top of my toy trunk.  FYI- I discovered this accidentally while cleaning this toy; When the wet, smooth flared base meets a flat non-porous surface (cultured marble bathroom counter) you have awesome suction = instant toy mount!

Silk medium (100% silicone. 1.1" wide. 5.25" long.)
Is a great anal or vaginal toy that features a slim, flexible and smooth profile with a flared base suitable for harness play.  It is comfortable and is considered the next size / step-up from the Silk Slim for those just upgrading their beginner toy(s) for anal/vaginal play (with or without a harness).  The thicker width makes this toy slightly less flexible than its’ smaller sibling but as you graduate from beginner anal / vaginal, this slight decrease in flexibility is a benefit you can appreciate as your playing skills improve.  This toy is fairly slim, smooth and has just the right amount of flexibility to allow for changes in angle during anal play and harness play without causing discomfort.  The flared based made it difficult to slip a condom over the flared base to secure the condom for anal play though.  To wear as a plug you might find that the base is too large and as there is no ‘neck’ to this toy, you’ll probably need to wear snug fitting underwear or a butt plug harness to keep it in place.  I was not able to find the same happy g-spot benefit with this dill as I found with it’s smaller sibling (Silk Small) but that doesn’t mean that it won’t work well for others. The same FYI for the Silk Small does apply though!  Overall, this is a great novice anal and vaginal toy – well worth the investment!
